Drive To Fishing - Perrault Falls, Northwestern Ontario Canada

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our fishing lodge. Cedar Lake Lodge is located in an extraordinary remote wilderness near Perrault Falls, Northwestern Ontario, Canada. We are a 'drive-to' fishing lodge where the fishing is as good as you would find at most fly-in locations! The lodge is located about three hours north of the city of International Falls MN. Here you can find exceptional fishing and housekeeping cabins of various sizes to accommodate small and larger groups. Cabin rentals include a boat, motor and gas for every two or three adults. We share our local knowledge with you so, while guides are available, you really don't need one to fish our very protected waters.

You can expect to catch trophy fish. Plan for Walleye, Muskie, Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Lake Trout, Jumbo Perch and Whitefish on your next fishing vacation.

Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful is what Cedar Lake Lodge is known for. Located on a 100 acre island on picturesque Cedar Lake, the lodge and cabins are nestled among the trees overlooking the water. At the end of the day's activities, you can relax in your cabin or come to our comfortable, spacious main lodge - the gathering place for those sociable evenings where fishing tales are swapped. We also have a video library and satellite T.V. in the lodge.

Our rates are modest compared to any fly-in fishing lodge and otherwise they are very competitive, even in the drive-to fishing lodge realm. Book your next fishing vacation at Cedar lake Lodge for extraordinary fishing. We look forward to hearing from you, please call us anytime.

Fishing Report - Muskie, Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Trout

Remote wilderness drive-to fishing lodge.

Fishing Report. Our Cedar River Watershed Fishery is far enough north and remote enough to have escaped the unbridled fishing that plagued areas to south over the last fifty to one hundred years. Cedar lake offers 6600 acres of prime fishing and access to 15000 acres of the six adjoining lakes of the Cedar River Watershed without the need to portage. For years we have followed a conservation policy of 'Catch And Release", "Catch And Consume" and "No Trophies Out". As a result our very northern and remote fishing has just gotten better each year. The trophies caught in the past still swim in our waters and grow ever larger. Cedar Lake is a 'Class A' muskie fishery.

The Cedar River Watershed has the Cedar River running through it. The watershed is made up of six large lakes, Cedar Lake, Perrault Lake, Davenport, Spadina, Church and St. Clair Lake, comprising about 15,000 acres of protected waters. The lakes are fed by eighty streams that supply nutrients and prey to our fishery. The surrounding topography of our lakes is rugged and hilly making the under water contours similarly configured. Deep holes, shallow reefs, rocky rubble, steep drop offs, flowage from the streams, Islands, bays and bottoms that range from gravel, to silt to rocky rubble and overhangs, are characteristic of Cedar Lake, where the lodge is located.

Cedar lake is nineteen miles wide and 6600 acres of unspoiled wilderness waters full of fish.

Please don't hesitate to call me or write to me if you have questions about our lodge, cabins or the fishing. Kim and I do our best to insure that your next fishing vacation will be a memorable one.
