"I caught a 48" musky within the first hour that we were there. Al herd me from across the bay, on the island. I also had my 11 year old daughter along and she loved it so much. We can't wait to go back next year. Walleye fishing is great and so is the perch and smallmouth bass. Al and his wife and his staff will do everything they can to make your trip the best ever. The cabins are very nice with toilet and showers. The boats are very comfortable to fish out of. The Resort was very easy to find. I have been to several other resorts before but after finding Cedar Lake Lodge we will be going back again and again. Make your own memories with your kids, family and or friends. Stay at Cedar Lake Lodge. You won't regret it!!"
"I live in Pierre SD on the Missouri River where we have the best fishing in the state. After being to Cedar Lake Lodge fishing around here sure ain't much fun anymore. Cedar Lake kinda spoiled us. We caught a variety of fish as well as some awesome numbers and size. The cabins are nice and modern and the customer service was great. I would recommend this to anyone that would like a great Canadian fishing experience or a great fishing experience period. Thanks for the great week and hope to see you soon."
"This place is world class for walleyes, smallmouth, and muskies! Al runs a great resort and it always has been a pleasure!"
"Loved our time there got my first musky and plan on going in 2014 for two weeks this time. Owners were very friendly and helpful, dock hand was great. The cabins are sooo nice. I tell everyone about this place."
"Have been fishing Cedar Lake for 20+ years now and haven't found a reason to go anywhere else. Al and Kim have created a wonderful camp for all ages and are tremendous hosts that keep me coming back year after year."
"This June will be my 26th trip to Cedar Lake Lodge. Al and Kim Rempel are the 3rd set of owners I've dealt with ... by far they are the best. They are very proactive as to customer needs. There have been so many improvements to the camp since they've taken over that sometimes it's hard to believe it is the same camp I started coming to in the early 80's The cabins are comfortable with all the anemities you might need. The boats and motors and any other equipment you might use are always in great working order and the fishing ... it can be anywhere from good to spectacular. We have never had problems getting our limits of walleyes for shore lunch and to bring home. If you fish muskies, there is no better lake the size of Cedar in NW Ontario. The guys who fish for them always boat 50+ muskies on the trip. If by chance you decide to do the modified American plan, Kim will knock your socks off with a fantastic home cooked meal like mom used to make."
